JOURNEY'S END BOOK

This book talks about what has happened in the trenches in the first world war, and this book is in the point of view of a british writter that lived inside this trenches, and he talks about his expiriences, the war, and all the problems that sorround his personal life. This book is about a captain that is about to discover that the brother of the person he loves is inside that trenches, and he doesn't want him to know that he has become a drunk and a maniac person created by war. He has been corrupted, and he is in command of thousaands of lives, so he feels responsable for everyone of them.

Are the oscars interesting anymore?

The oscars are not interesting anymore because in the past years, there were really good movies and there was a mistery in who was going to win what price. But yesterday, it wasn't interesting at all because there were not good movies and you kind of nalready knew who was going to win in all the prices. This year, the oscars went down dramaticly because of the low conditions of the actors and the movies. I think that the oscars of this year were much less than the expectations, and than the level in the one we are used to see the oscars was not the one we expected because of the low level of the movies that appeared. We have high expectations for the movies that might appear in this year, but I don't want to see again the dessapointing oscars that I saw yesterday.

Are the oscars interesting anymore?

JOURNEY'S END BOOK

This book talks about a story during the war world one, and it happens inside the trenches of a battlefield. The book tells us that the soldiers are very singular and traumatizing because of their expiriences and the death of friends.
The trenches from one band to the other one are very close, they are only at 100 feet away from each other, and this idea makes the reader think that the battles may occur at any point of the story.

Emo diary

Day 1:
Today I give up, I thought this threats by Internet were just a lie, but today, I went to the place of the meeting and I found a fiels of aggression. The other social cultures were screaming to us as if we had done something wrong but no, we did not hold back and attacked them. Two of my best friends were beaten and the police did nothing to prevent this. We have done nothing wrong compared to what these people have done to us we are just trying to get an identity and get involved in a social group. Is it so hard to find peace in this place? It is fair to be punished and humilliated this way just because you are different?

Day 2:
Things haven't improved, we still cannot even go out for a walk without people insulting and trying to punch us. I cannot stand this signs of agression and violence, today in the afternoon, I'am going to a ritual in the streets, I don't know how is it going to be or what it is about, but I'am really interested in this ritual, I think that is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Day 3:
Yesterday was great!!!
I went to the ritual, and there were all sort of people, there were drugged, drunk and this meeting was all about talking to some other emo partners. I met Harold. A very nice guy that talked to me about the black parade when you die, and I really felt that death could be much nicer than this place were all the people discriminates you just because you are different, so I really want to know that place.

Day 4:
Tomorrow I'am going to the black parade, I have already talked to Harold, and he told me that for sure, the black parade was much more better than the world we live in, so tomorrow night. I'AM GOING TO THAT PARADE.

EMOS

I think that emo's are just another group from the society like the punks or metals, but these group of people have been discriminated because of their way of seen the life and their actions of self harm. The emo culture I think it is a strange one because of their beliefs and their actions, but I think that the society has discriminate them because they don't understand them, because they are different from us.

George Orwell and the Ofrenda

George Orwell was borned on 1903 in India. He was a very important writer in english history because of his two novels called 'Animal Farm' and '1984'. Today, we are reading 'Animal Farm' and I think that is a very interesting story about one animal that wants to have complete control of the farm, and there are other animals that don't want that for their own benefit, what makes me think that this book was wrote by George Orwell, because it talks about fighting the forces of totalitarianism and absolution.
Last week, me and my class did an ofrenda of Geore Orwell. We have planned this ofrenda for weeks and we expected towin, but at last we lost because our ofrenda was not good enough.
