Film Review `Hooligans`
Director: Lexi Alexander
Running time: 108
Drama, Suspense, Action.
If the people want to see a complete chapter of violence and action in the streets of London, this is the movie you should watch. This drama film created by the director Lexi Alexander keeps you awake all time, because it talks mainly, about the fight battles that the Hooligans from one soccer team (in this case, the main characters support the West Ham United) and they have to earn the respect from the other hooligans.
The film is about an American collage student called Matt Buckner (Elijah Wood) meets his brother at London, but his brother, is already a member
of the GSE, ( Green Street Elite) and he infiltrated Matt into the football team, you can see all the fights that he gets involved in the streets of London, and how they travel from one place to another to watch his favorite team. In the film, I saw the true from many English men, and the passion that the British community has for the football. You see, that the hooligans are like warriors, they defeat the opponent to gain the respect of the streets.
But the main problem for Matt, is that one of the creators of the GSE, doesn’t like the new and the foreigners, so when he finds Matt along with his father at the London Times, he thinks that Matt is tricking everyone in the GSE, and he fights with the ones in the group, so he gets expelled from the GSE, and he goes all along the river, and becomes part of the greatest rival of the West Ham United called Farewell.
The hooligans at Farewell and the ones of the West Ham United hate each other like if they were palatines against the judies. In one tournament, finally, after 10 years, the Farewell is challenging the West Ham at the West Ham’s stadium, and all of them get very excited because they are going to be part of a massive fight.
The way that they explain the Hooligans and how they act in this movie is excellent, Lexi Alexander shows us in this movie how the battle in the London streets is just to gain the respect from all the other teams.
I think that the movie is fantastic; it drives you to a complete new world in which you start to know the difference between being a hooligan and being a thief. The hooligans are like warriors fighting in the battlefield, they don’t use bats, or guns or anything except their own hands and feet to bring the opponents down and defeat them, this movie shows us the insignificant that the police in London really is, and also suggests what the hooligans have to do to run away from the police.

You had good ideas in your writing but you have lots of spelling and punctuation mistakes which should be corrected. We have seen this film many times so we need to tell you that you got the entire plot of the film wrong. You should check pages like www.imdb.com to see the experts film review and correct yours.
Im agree..........you need to check an expert film review.
This is a detailed account and you have obviously enjoyed the film.
You do need to work on your grammar- I feel like you don't always have the words to say what you want to. Also you should check any inaccuracies in your writing.
I can't remember the film that well but I think Dan and Santiago might have a point.
Still, I really like the effort you are putting into your blog. Well done - an IGCSE D, which is a SEP 8.
